Recently, CITIC HIC signed the supply contract with China Nonferrous Metal Industry for one set of Φ5.03×5m SAG mill and one set of Φ5.03×7.5m ball mill for Indonesia AMMAN Mineral’s copper smelting project, helping the user build a modern copper smelter with low operating costs, environment protection and low-carbon.
CITIC HIC has actively participated in the international division of labor in the mining industry. CITIC HIC has teamed up with China Nonferrous Metal Industry and other Chinese funded enterprises to go overseas to promote the cooperation in international production capacity and equipment manufacturing, provide users with core mining equipment, including SAG mills and ball mills, and offer the most advanced and the most experienced “Chinese design, Chinese manufacture, and Chinese standard” to countries along the “Belt and Road”, including Indonesia, to boost the local economy.
AMMAN Mineral Industri is a world-class mining company and owns the second largest copper gold mine in Indonesia— BatuHijau Copper Mine. The construction of the large 900,000 t/a copper smelter in Sumbawa Island will have a positive impact on Indonesia’s production recovery and economic development in the post Covid-19 era.
